Elpedia.gr is a website dedicated to the study and presentation of Byzantine Art, through a rich collection of articles covering Byzantine iconography, minor arts, and its diverse expressions from the 4th century up to the Post-Byzantine period.
This art, which continued to develop seamlessly even after the fall of Constantinople, remains alive to this day — integrated, as it is, primarily into the tradition, worship, and aesthetics of the Eastern Orthodox Church.
